Initial tool assessment and compatibility checks
Before any transfer takes place, we review the tool design, condition, and historical production data. This allows us to assess compatibility with our machines and identify any issues that could affect performance once the tool is live.
Where required, tooling maintenance or adjustment is planned before production begins, reducing the risk of unexpected downtime later.
Installation and controlled trial runs
Once installed, the tool is set up under controlled conditions. Trial runs are used to confirm fill behaviour, cycle stability, and part consistency against existing specifications.
This stage is not about achieving volume quickly. It is about confirming the process behaves predictably before production is scaled.
Process validation and approval
Validation confirms that the transferred tool can produce parts consistently within agreed tolerances. Where formal approval is required, this is aligned with customer standards and existing documentation.
Only once the process is proven stable do we move into repeat production.

Tool transfer does not end at first-off approval. Ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation ensure the tool continues to perform as expected over time.
