Gregory McDonald
Chief Executive
Greg McDonald founded Goodfish in 2010, after a 25-year career in investment management, industrial turnarounds, corporate development, international M&A, extended supply chain development & management and investment banking.
Greg achieved a BSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Reading. Previous employers have been IFM Trading, Wm Cook plc, ING Barings, Deutsche Bank and IMI plc.
Guy McDonald
Director
Guy joined Goodfish after having worked in customer services for an electronics equipment business in London. Guy’s experience of working as an operator on the shop floor at our Cannock site, during school- and university holidays, meant he was no stranger to the business when he joined us on a full-time basis in 2018.
Guy’s full-time career at Goodfish started in the Quality department. A year later he was moved into Production, planning and managing production in the Cannock mould shop. After a root and branch turnaround of the Cannock operation, including hiring a quality engineer and a production planner to take over from him, Guy moved into a newly created role heading up digital transformation. This has now expanded to cover all business transformation activities.
Ivo McDonald, ACA
Non-executive Director
Ivo joined the Goodfish board as a non-executive director, in 2023, after qualifying as a chartered accountant with Grant Thornton in 2022.
While at school, Ivo led the development of the branding and marketing of our start-up cycling accessories business, Stique, returning later to run the business after finishing university.
Ivo graduated from the University of Bath in 2018 with a BSc in International Management and Modern Languages (French). The four-year course included a year of working in Paris for a branding agency, as well as some short stints in China working in commercial property.
After working for the advertising company, McCann in London, Ivo branched out on his own to set up his own branding, digital media and marketing business, Opignac, initially operating out of Bangkok. Returning to the UK in 2025, Ivo has led Opignac to specialise in supporting the growth of lifestyle D2C brands through digital marketing and media.
