Each of our sites has a dedicated quality lab and skilled technicians, led by a team leader or manager. These laboratories work closely with our NPI and automation engineers, to ensure quality standards are built in to the new tooling projects we manage, as well as our manufacturing processes.
Each lab has at least one CMM (coordinate measuring machine), shadowgraph equipment, checking fixtures (where appropriate), go-/no-go jigs, ’golden’ or approved samples and a wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver the quality standards we work to. Our range of 3D printers enable rapid development of jigs, fixtures and EOAT to ensure built-in quality across all sites.
Our quality teams are a fertile training ground for our select team of future leaders, each of whom spends time working in one of our quality labs as part of their training and development programme. Quality is a given, these days, so it has been made an integral part of our infrastructure.
